Welcome to SilkSlide. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SilkSlide ("SilkSlide," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas, and govern your access to and use of silkslide.co (the "Site") and any products you purchase from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Site or place an order. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The Products

SilkSlide sells curtain glide clips and related accessories. We do our best to display product colors, dimensions, and details accurately, but we can't guarantee that your screen will show them perfectly. Products are handmade (3D printed) in Austin, TX, so slight variations are normal and not defects.

3. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy the products in your cart. We may accept or decline any order, and we may limit or cancel quantities. An order is only accepted once we send a confirmation or ship the products. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including product availability, errors in pricing or descriptions, or suspected fraud.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. You're responsible for any applicable taxes. Payments and checkout are processed by our payment provider (Shopify); by submitting payment information, you authorize us and our provider to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order even if it has been confirmed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We typically ship within 2–3 days from Austin, TX. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we're not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss passes to you once the products are handed to the carrier.

6. Returns, Refunds & Guarantee

We stand behind SilkSlide with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy, contact us at silkslideshop@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery to arrange a return or refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once approved. Some items or circumstances may be excluded as described at the time of purchase or in our return instructions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including the SilkSlide name and logo, text, graphics, images, product designs, and code, are owned by SilkSlide or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our products or content without our written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by: violating any law; infringing others' rights; attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems; introducing malware; scraping or harvesting data; interfering with the Site's operation; or using the Site to send spam or fraudulent content.

9. User Submissions

If you send us feedback, reviews, photos, or other content, you grant SilkSlide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with our business and marketing. You represent that you have the rights to share it.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (such as Shopify, social platforms, and analytics or advertising partners). We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. SilkSlide clips are intended for standard residential curtain rods; you are responsible for confirming compatibility and for proper installation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SilkSlide and its founders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a product will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SilkSlide and its founders from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
