This Privacy Policy explains how SilkSlide ("SilkSlide," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit silkslide.co (the "Site"), shop with us, or interact with our ads. 1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you place an order, contact us, or sign up for updates, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment information. Payments are processed by our checkout provider (Shopify); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect information about your device and activity, including:
- Device & technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen and viewport size, device pixel ratio, language and locale, time zone, and similar characteristics.
- Approximate location: country, region, city, and postal code derived from your IP address.
- Usage & behavior: pages viewed, referring pages, links and buttons clicked, scroll depth, products viewed, items added to cart, checkout activity, session duration, and timestamps.
- Attribution & advertising identifiers: referrer, UTM campaign parameters, and ad click identifiers (such as TikTok ttclid, Meta fbclid, and Google gclid) and related advertising cookies (such as _fbp, _fbc, _ttp, and _gcl_au).
- A persistent identifier stored in your browser so we can recognize returning visitors and link activity across visits.
We store this information in our own database (hosted on Supabase) and also process it through the third-party services listed in Section 4.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the Site, process and ship your orders, and provide customer support.
- To measure and analyze traffic, performance, and how our Site is used.
- To build audiences and measure, target, and optimize advertising, including retargeting visitors and creating similar ("lookalike") audiences on advertising platforms.
- To personalize content and improve our products, Site, and marketing.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. Some are strictly necessary; others (analytics and advertising) are used based on your consent where required.
You can manage non-essential cookies through our consent banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some may affect how the Site works.
Change your choice anytime. Reopen the consent banner to update or withdraw your consent.
4. How We Share Information

We share data with these advertising partners, including hashed identifiers (such as email or phone), device and activity data, and the advertising identifiers described above, so we can measure ad performance and build and target audiences. We may also share information to comply with the law, protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.
U.S. state privacy rights (including California)
You may have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. To opt out, decline non-essential cookies in our banner, enable a recognized opt-out signal (such as Global Privacy Control) in your browser, or email us. We do not knowingly discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EEA/UK rights
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing include your consent (for analytics/advertising cookies), performance of a contract (to fulfill orders), and our legitimate interests (to operate and improve our business and secure the Site). You may withdraw consent at any time and have the rights described above.
How to exercise your rights
Email silkslideshop@gmail.com and we'll respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, for example, to fulfill orders, meet legal and accounting obligations, and support analytics and advertising. Analytics and advertising data is generally retained on a rolling basis and then deleted or aggregated. You can request deletion of your information as described above.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Data Transfers & Security
We are based in the United States, and information we process may be stored and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be highlighted on the Site.
